Following on from the hugely successful sell out 2008 live tour, shows for 2009 are now on sale!<br /><br />
Jodie Kidd and Rachel Stevens will be dancing their way around the country in 2009 when STRICTLY COME DANCING - THE LIVE TOUR! takes to the road next January. Jodie and Rachel will join fellow dancing celebrities from the current BBC1 series, Cherie Lunghi and Tom Chambers, along with past favourites Gethin Jones, Jill Halfpenny, Julian Clary and Kenny Logan for the UK tour, where audiences will get the chance to watch their favourite celebrities, dance champions and those all important TV judges.<br />

Series Two champion <strong>Jill Halfpenny</strong>, comic<strong> Julian Clary</strong>, last year&#8217;s smooth mover, <strong>Gethin Jones</strong> and rugby star <strong>Kenny Logan</strong> today announce that they are the first celebrities who will join STRICTLY COME DANCING - THE LIVE TOUR!. Audiences across the country will once again get the chance to watch a host of their favourite celebrities, dance champions and those all important TV judges, when STRICTLY COME DANCING - THE LIVE TOUR! hits UK Arenas next January and February.<br />

Following this year&#8217;s massive sell-out UK tour, STRICTLY COME DANCING - THE LIVE TOUR! 2009 will see stars from the hit TV show past and present gather their gowns and dance shoes, to once again become dance contestants, competing for the votes of the audiences in Arenas across the Country. <br />
<br />
The 2009 tour will see the celebrities face their dance demons in the form of all four TV judges - <strong>Len Goodman</strong>, <strong>Arlene Phillips</strong>, <strong>Craig Revel Horwood</strong> and <strong>Bruno Tonioli</strong> &#8211; joining each show to voice their professional opinions of the dancing duos. <br />
<br />
The format of the show (tbc) ....There will be two 45 minute sections with a 20 min interval in-between. First half celebs dance. Then the audience text to choose their winner. <br />
Second half is group dancing and some professionals doing their thing! Then at the end the winner is announced<br />

The five-week dance spectacular will also travel to <em> Liverpool</em>&#8217;s Echo Arena, <em>Manchester</em>&#8217;s MEN Arena, <em>Nottingham</em> Arena, <em>Sheffield</em> Arena, <em>London
</em>&#8217;s Wembley Arena, London&#8217;s O2 Arena, SECC in <em>Glasgow</em> and <em>Birmingham</em> LG Arena.

Directions
Nottingham Arena (National Ice Centre) is in the Lace Market area of the City. Much of the area is pedestrianised & the venue is well signposted.

By Rail:Closest Station is Nottingham - a 10 minute walk from the venue. Follow signs which direct you to the Lace Market and keep your eye out for grey signs which are dotted en route to the National Ice Centre.

By Car: Nottingham City & the venue are easily approachable from the A60, A52, A610, & A453. The A453 brings you into the City Centre from the M1 Junction 24, the A52 & A6200 bring you into the City Centre from the M1 Junction 25. The venue is clearly signposted.

By Bus:The venue is well served by buses - The NCT bus service 44 drops right outside the Arena when coming from the city. Routes 45 and Link2 (L2) pass the Arena on their inward journey to the city. Service nos. 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 44, 96 (Night bus),100, all pass adjacent to the venue stopping on Hockley & Lower Parliament Street. Night Bus service nos. 96,97,98,99 stop on Belward Street, behind the venue, next to the Bowling Alley. There are two main bus stations, Broadmarsh and Victoria, each of which are a 10 minute walk from the centre. Again, follow the signs to the Lace Market and keep an eye out for the grey signs.

By Tram:Nottingham's state-of-the-art tram system passes adjacent to the Arena. The 'Lace Market' stop on Fletcher Gate is a three minute walk from the venue. Trams run at least every 10 minutes until midnight (more frequently at peak times). In addition there are five free Park and Ride sites on the tram system. An all-day tram ticket costs just £2.40. Check www.thetram.net. A £2.70 CityRider ticket allows unlimited travel on tram and NCT buses for the day

By Air: Nottingham East Midlands Airport is a 45 minute drive from the venue. A shuttle bus service now runs every half an hour from the airport to the city centre at a cost of £3.50.

By Taxi:Taxis are available outside the National Ice Centre on Lower Parliament Street and throughout the city at designated taxi ranks. A free phone connected to a local taxi provider is located in the atrium of the venue.

Car Parking:There are 2 pay car parks within 3 minutes of the venue – Fletcher Gate & Stoney Street. There are also 2 large multi storey car parks 6 minutes approx from the venue - Broadmarsh Centre & the Victoria Centre.

Alternatively you can keep your car out of the city, & use the ‘Park & Glide’ parking in one of five FREE car parks and connect to the venue on the tram.

The ‘Park & Glide’ Car Parks are located at: Hucknall Railway Station Moor Bridge just off the A611 south of Hucknall Phoenix Park just off the M1 at junction 26 Wilkinson Street just off the ring road in Basford The Forest just off Gregory Boulevard.
