Anakena Island Tour

Explore the beauty of Easter Island including Anakena with its mysterious structures and legendary white coral sand beach said to have been the landing point of Polynesian chief Hotu Matua who first settled the island. Departing from Hanga Roa, we will visit the Southeastern and Northeastern Coasts with visits to many impressive moai structures in temple formations called Ahus. See Vaihu, Akahanga, Tongariki, Te Pito Kura and Nau Nau.

We will also visit the Rano Raraku Quarry which supplied the stone for 95% of the islands monolithic moai sculptures as well as a Vaitea farm.

Then visit beautiful Anakena Beach itself, oddly one of the only beaches on the island on which it is possible to land, the other shores of the island being surrounded by rocky cliffs. See a small cave within a gorge as well as the nearby beaches of Poike and Ovahe where youll have time to relax and enjoy the scenery of this enchanting place.
