Knott's really once was a berry farm. Walter Knott built a themed Ghost Town to entertain diners waiting for tables at his wife's fried chicken restaurant. Over the years, the park grew into a destination of its own. Today, the park is owned by the Cedar Fair company.

Animals
Animals are not allowed inside the Park, except seeing-eye and hearing dogs.
Bus Transportation
Bus Transportation from Select Southern California Hotels is provided by Pacific Coast Sightseeing and Airport Bus. Check with your hotel concierge or front desk for details.

Credit Cards accepted for admission and at most shops and restaurants include Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Diners Club and JCB.

Dress Standards
Knott's has a dress code that is designed to maintain the Park's family atmosphere by disallowing clothing generally considered offensive. Profanity, suggestive pictures and pictures of illegal substances on clothing are also prohibited. For your safety, shirts and shoes must be worn at all times, including entering and leaving the Theme Park.
Guest Information
Knott's provides a number of useful services for our Guests including Lockers, Strollers and Wheelchairs, ATMs, Foreign Currency Exchange, Gift Certificates, Shopper's Passes, Baby- Baby-Changing Stations, Nursing Stations, a First Aid Center, and accomodations for Guests with Special Needs.
Handstamp
Convenient exit and re-entry is available throughout the day of your visit by the hand-stamp provided upon exit of the theme park.
Ride Restrictions
Certain Rides have age and height limitations in order to ensure Guest Safety. There are also some rides that Expectant Mothers should not ride.
Unauthorized Items
Unauthorized Items not allowed in the Park include radios, cassette recorders, sleeping bags, luggage, bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, and coolers. Wagons used as strollers and coolers containing baby food are allowed.
