The attraction The Amsterdam Dungeon is a unique combination of a museum, theatre and an attraction. True facts from Amsterdam’s history are the main scene in this attraction. Actors will bring the horrible history to life and this experience will be extra exciting by the many special effects, a dangerous ride and the labyrinth of lost Amsterdam. Living in fear for the plague, the VOC, The Spanish inquisition and the dark streets of Amsterdam will come to live again. The Amsterdam Dungeon is more than just a museum, it is an experience! Opening hours The Amsterdam Dungeon is open every day as from 11.00 till 17.00 (last entrance). A visit to the Amsterdam Dungeon will take approx. 80 minutes. 25th December closed. Note: Amsterdam Dungeons is not suitable for children under 8 years as it might be to scary for them. Children under 15 years must be accompanied by an adult. Note: Madame Tussauds is suitable for children of all ages. Children under 4 years do not need to purchase a ticket. Travel Info - Madame TussaudsDirections to Madame Tussauds Madame Tussauds is located on Dam Square in the heart of Amsterdam, approximately a ten minute walk from Central Station. There are also several nearby parking facilities. Tram 1, 2, 5, 13, 17 and 20 stop at Magna Plaza/Dam and tram 4, 9, 16, 20, 24, 25 stop at the Bijenkorf/Dam. Accessibility At Madame Tussauds, guests with a wheelchair are always welcome. However, due to strict fire regulations we are only allowed to accommodate two wheelchairs at the same time. This strict fire regulations guarantees everyone's safety. To prevent disappointments, we suggest that people with a wheelchair make a reservation before they come to Madame Tussauds Amsterdam. Voucher Exchange You will be sent a Keith Prowse voucher which you will need to redeem at time of entry. Photo Identification in the name of the client booked may be required for admission. Travel Info - Amsterdam DungeonsDue to the City centre location, using public transport is advisable. The Dungeon is a 5 minute walk from central station down to the Damrak, past Damsquare. The following tram lines go from central station to a nearby stop called Rokin/Spui 4,9,16 and 24. The nearest pay parking available is at the Bijenkorf and costs approximately €3 per hour. |
