The Amsterdam Dungeons invites you to a unique feast of fun with history’s horrible bits. Live actors, a ride, shows and special effects transport you back to those black, bleak times. Are you brave enough to delve into the darkest chapters of history?

The attraction
The Amsterdam Dungeon is a unique combination of a museum, theatre and a attractionparc. True facts from Amsterdam’s history are the main scene in this attraction. Actors will bring the horrible history to life and this experience will be extra exchiting by the many special effects, a dangerous ride and the labyrinth of lost Amsterdam. Living in fear for the plague, the VOC, The Spanish inquisition and the dark streets of Amsterdam will come to live again. The Amsterdam Dungeon is more than just a museum, it is an experience!

Open Daily from 10am. A visit to the Amsterdam Dungeon will take approx. 80 minutes.

Parking
If you are travelling by car you can park in the parking garage of the Bijenkorf, at a cost of 3 euros per hour.



Travel Info

Due to the City centre location, using public transport is advisable.

The Dungeon is a 5 minute walk from central station down to the Damrak, past Damsquare.

The following tram lines go from central station to a nearby stop called Rokin/Spui 4,9,16 and 24.

The nearest pay parking available is at the Bijenkorf and costs approximately €3 per hour.
