On this mini castle tour of North Sealand, we first visit the beautiful Frederiksborg Castle, in the magnificent surroundings of Hillerød. Our visit here includes the outstanding National Museum, the Chapel and the Knights' Hall. The tour continues past the Royal Family's summer residence - Fredensborg Palace - in the middle of a lovely park and surrounded by the idyllic Esrum lake. Upon arrival in Elsinore, you will see the outer walls and towers of impressive Kronborg Castle, setting of Shakespeare's play, Hamlet. Returning to Copenhagen, the coach will drive through fashionable resorts and exclusive residential areas, taking the scenic route along the coast of Denmark paralleled by Sweden's.
