This is the tour for those looking to experience the vitality and excitement of Chicago! You'll go through Chicago's main business section, one of the financial centers of the world that is always bustling with activity. You'll tour the famous "Loop" and State Street - the great street where Chicago's fame began.

Travel by the striking Richard J. Daley Plaza with its acknowledged masterpiece, the Pablo Picasso sculpture, created specifically for Chicago. You will take a ride on Wacker Drive, the double-decked thoroughfare that winds its way under the city. Also journey over the Chicago River, which is made to flow backwards by one of the world's greatest engineering feats.

On this tour you'll see the famous white Wrigley Building that announces the beginning of the Magnificent Mile, and Michigan Avenue where Chicago's most exclusive stores exhibit their wares. You'll see Chicago's elegant seven-level shopping complex, the renowned Water Tower Place, alongside one of the tallest buildings in the world, the John Hancock Center.

You will also travel through Lincoln Park, a thousand acres of greenery, lagoons, flowers, and zoo. You'll see Wrigley Field - the home of the Cubs (visits not on game days,) the Botanical Gardens, Chicago Historical Society, Newberry Reference Library, and an Indian Totem Pole.

South Shore Tour
Here is a tour full of interest, history, and beauty! You'll travel through Grant Park, the front lawn of the city and site of Soldier Field, Adler Planetarium with its sky dome, and the Joseph Petrillo outdoor band-shell where the people listen to fine music throughout the summer nights.

Also on your journey is the Art Institute of Chicago, world-renowned for the largest collection of impressionistic art, Orchestra Hall, home of the famous Chicago Symphony, and Shedd Aquarium, the world's largest aquarium. You'll stop by the Field Museum of Natural History, which is famous for the size and scope of its collections. And looking over from these sights you'll see the 80-story Amoco Oil Building, completely faced in white granite.

Afterwards, you will travel through the South Commons, a new "close-in" residential community. The tour will go through beautiful Jackson Park, where the Colombian Exposition of 1893 was held to celebrate the founding of America 400 years earlier. Following this you'll pass through the University of Chicago, with its elegant English style architecture, as well as pass the Museum of Science and Industry, a tribute to Man's ingenuity and inventiveness.

You'll see the world's highest apartment building, Lake Point Towers, which is an architecturally stunning building of glass and curves adjacent to Navy Pier, Chicago's inland port.

And finally you will visit the John Hancock Tower where you will see an entertaining, fast paced multi-image show featuring a photo gallery of Chicago attractions. Then you will take a non-stop ride to the Skydeck observatory - 1,353 feet above street level and higher than any other rooftop in the world. It takes the world's fastest elevators just 39 seconds to take visitors to the 94th floor to The Hancock Observatory.

There you will see a panoramic view of Chicago, it's famous skyline, the magnificent shoreline of Lake Michigan and on a clear day you can see up to 80 miles away and view four states - Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin.
