Penthesilea is an opera in one act by Othmar Schoeck, with libretto by the composer, after the tragedy by Heinrich von Kleist. It was composed between 1923 and 1925 and premiered at the Staatsoper in Dresden (now the Semper Oper) on 8 January 1927.
