DAY 1
- Depart Orlando at 07:00 hrs. Pick-up is from various points (please see venue information for details)
- Stop at a rest area for a bite to eat at 09:00hrs (Fort Pierce - this is a motorway rest stop with a Burger King, coffee Shop and a newsagents) Leave rest stop 09:30.
- Arrive at Bayside Resort, Key Largo at 12 noon
- After checking in to the hotel the guide will take the first group to a place called Dolphin Plus (5 minutes away from the hotel) by bus
- There will be 2 groups taken to the venue at separate times - guests are given a time by the tour guide they can not choose which one they want to go on
- 1st group of swimmers leave at 12:30 for a 12:45 swim session
- 2nd group of swimmers leave at 2:30 for 3:00 swim session.
The guide will take each group to the venue to get them checked in - all guests are required to wear flotation vests. The sessions begin with an educational briefing about dolphins in general and the dolphins that the group will be swimming with including their names and behaviour patterns.
Most importantly guests are told how to conduct themselves while interacting with the dolphins. Contact with the dolphins is guaranteed but the type of interaction depends on the dolphin and the instructor. The whole experience is about 2 hours - including the briefing and the activities.
There are 2 sets of activities which included in water behaviours & platform behaviours - all behaviours are hands-on for each swimmer. The dolphins love to push you by the bottom of your feet and tow you by their dorsal fin, give kisses, handshakes and dance. The main motivation for the dolphins to do tricks is the food that they get from the trainers.

There will be 6-8 people in the water with each dolphin and it is one-on-one when interacting
- The NON SWIMMERS will have time to sunbathe, swim in the sea or lounge around the hotel pool. They can also go over to the Dolphin Plus facilities and watch their family members swim with the dolphins but they will do this from afar not on the training platform.
- Island style meal included at 5:45pm. The meal consist of rotisserie chicken, beef and potatoes (stew), savoury yellow rice, salad, french bread & fried plantains for desert. Soft drinks are provided. There are no childrens meals they get the same food and they do not have anything specific for vegetarians they would have the option of all the above food minus the meat. This meal is served at the back of the hotel al fresco.
DAY 2

Continental breakfast in hotel reception 07:00 until 09:00.
- Check out of hotel room by 08:30 and board bus as we are leaving for the Everglades.
- 09:00 arrive at everglades gator farm enjoy a short airboat ride (30 minutes) before watching the snake and alligator show. The airboat ride goes both fast and slow and they stop on the way round and look at the wildlife. If guests do not want to watch the snake and alligator show they have the opportunity to look around the rest of the alligator farm.
- 11:00 We head for Miami’s Bayside market place.
- 12 noon arrive in Miami’s Bayside with it’s abundance of shops, boutiques and restaurants. Guests can also take an optional tour around star island ( the cost of this is $16 adults and $8 child) This is where the rich and famous live.and takes about 1 half hours.
- The journey back to Orlando starts at 4:00pm and arrives back at around 8:00pm
This tour is suitable for all guests but the fact that it is very long may prove to be boring for younger children as there is a lot of travelling. Suitable videos are played as a way to entertain the children. Those customers who feel uncomfortable in deep water may not wish to participate in the Dolphin Swim as they can not touch the bottom as the water is very deep.
Guests with disabilities
The buses are not wheelchair accessible but if the person can get onto the bus themselves the wheelchair can be stored under the bus in the storage compartments. Drivers and tour guides can not legally help the person onto the bus but they can receive help from family or friends.
In the hotel (Bayside Resort) there are not many wheelchair adapted rooms but a room on the ground floor can be requested. Any disability information or special needs must be given at the time of booking.

YOU MUST TAKE ALL CLIENT DATES OF BIRTH AND CHECK IF ANY CLIENTS ARE PREGNANT AT THE TIME OF BOOKING.
If any guests have any special needs, whether it be physical or otherwise (e.g autistic etc), we must be informed at the time of booking because those guests need to complete a special needs form for Marineland to assess and confirm it is ok for those guest to take part in the full encounter, before we can confirm the booking.
