The Wiener Salonorchestra of the Volksoper performs a selection of light classical music by Johann Strauss and W.A Mozart and featuring ballet dancers and operetta performers in the beautiful surroundings of the Wiener Kursalon.
The orchestra is one of the world’s top exponents of Viennese light classical music, joyful waltzes, polkas, and operetta.
The Kursalon was built by Johann Garber between 1865 and 1867, in the Italian Renaissance style. Recently restored, the Kursalon is one of the finest concert venues in Vienna.
