Conveniently situated on Spain’s East Coast, just two minutes from the popular holiday resort Benidorm, Terra Mtica is a unique Paramount theme park, with more than 25 rides, shows, restaurants and shops, providing fun for all the family.

Terra Mitica – Mythic Land – is divided into five main areas and each area has its own characteristic, which represents a whole: the present, the past and the Future, of the Mediterranean.

Las Islas: The Great Journey. This is a real island in the centre of the park, which represents the Mediterranean Sea.

Egypt: The Land of Pharoahs. The Egypt of the pyramids, the Sphinx and the Port of Alexandria… An Egypt where guests will live like its ancient dwellers and enjoy themselves like never before.

Greece: Home of the Gods. This area represents the three essential concepts of the mythical fantasy of Greece.

SynKope - a discus turning @ 90km/hour at 30m & swinging @ 120 degrees above the ground.

Iberia: The Warm Shores. Terra Mitica’s land Iberia is a place where fiestas, tradition and vibrantly colored shores come together in pure fun.

Rome: The Frontier. Once the guest crosses the bridge at Mérida, they’ll find a great Roman Fortress where they’ll relive all the splendour of the civilisation that once ruled the world. This area rotates around two planes – The Frontier of the LIMES and ROME.

Tips to make the most of your visit to Terra Mitica:

Upon entering the park to avoid the crowd make Rome your first stop then later walk through the Islands to return through Egypt.

When riding the roller coasters try the front and back and each experience will be different.

Ride lines are shortest after 10pm so save the most popular till then. Rides that are near entertainment facilities are generally most crowded for a period of time after the conclusion of the show or event. Check the show schedule and ride these attractions while the entertainment facilities are in use.

Arrive at the shows 15 minutes or more before the show to assure you get the best seats which are right up front.

Water lines are shortest after 6pm when the heat is dropping

Pick-up your map and timetable at the Guest Relations Office in the Park Entrance.

Staff at each attraction will provide you with information about height & age restrictions and waiting times on the lines

Food and beverages can not be brought into the park but there are 21 food facilities
It is recommended to set aside at least 2 days to maximise your visit to the park

2pm - 3.30pm is a quieter time to avoid queuing at restaurants

There is a kennel located at the Park's entrance

Guide dogs are allowed into the park and most of the attractions provide access and posted facilities for guests with disabilities.

High season: From 18th July to 6th September- 10am to 10pm

Low Season: Weekends and Bank Hols - 10am to 8pm

Low Season: Rest of Days - 10am to 7pm

1-Day plus 1 day free: must be used consecutively.

Any number of children between the ages of 0-4 are admitted free of charge as long as they are accompanied by at least one adult.

The child age is 5 – 10.

If the child turns five during their stay, as long as they are still 4 on the first day of entry they will not have to purchase a child pass.

The senior age is for those over 60.

BY PLANE: Alicante Airport "El Altet" is located 34 miles from the park. Valencia Airport Manises is 87 miles.

BY TRAIN: Terra Mitica park has its own train station very close to the park on the Alicante-Denia F.G.V. line. The closest Renfe station, the Spanish State railway, is located in Alicante.

BY CAR: Take either N-330, N-332, N- 340 or the A7 motorway (exit 65A)

Terra Mitica is located very near to the city of Benidorm (Alicante Province), the main tourist destination on the Spanish Coastline. The local bus service operates to the Park for approx. 0,75 (Euros) each way (this price may vary). It is situated about 55 Km from Altet Airport in Alicante and approximately 140 Km from Manises Airport in Valencia.

Special Needs Info

Wheelchair Accessibility:
Guests in wheelchairs do not need a special pass. They can go to the front of the queue or go to the special entrance depending on the ride or show. The whole park has been designed with wheelchair bound guests in mind and the rides, which are not accessible will depend on the level of disability. It has been advised that the most unsuitable ride would be THE RAPIDS OF ARGOS, as getting in and out of the rafts is virtually impossible. Guests should ask for assistance at the park.

There is a Terra Mitica kennel near the ticket booths. Costs 4.00 a day.

Children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult.

We have a Lost Children facility in Egypt.

Manual wheelchairs can be rented at the park 6.00 a day.

Electric scooters can be rented at the park 25.00 a day.

Car park costs 5.00 a day.

Left luggage costs 5.00 a day.

Strollers can be rented at the Park entrance for 4.00 a day
