Tour Times
The Tour operates 7 days a week all year round, the pick-up time will be confirmed by the supplier. Flights throughout the day. (Timings subject to change)
7.00am, 8.45am, 10.30am, 12.15am, 2.00pm, 3.45pm & 5.30pm (Mid summer only)
Flight time is approximately 1.5 hours, 1 hour 30 minutes is spent at the ranch
Running Time: allow 4.5 hours from hotel to hotel
The Tour commences with a hotel pick up by the Heli USA mini Van service. This applies to all Las Vegas Hotels and is included in the tour price. Passengers are transferred to the Exclusive Heli USA Air terminal (at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas) where they check in before awaiting their Canyon flight.
· Guests will experience a spectacular helicopter flight below the rim of the Grand Canyon with a landing at the exclusive 106,000 acre Grand Canyon West Ranch.
· They will be one of the few to actually descend by helicopter over 1,500 ft. below the rim; their breath will be taken away as they pass towering cathedral buttresses and columns bathed in an ever-changing kaleidoscope of colours.
· The hands of time will be turned back as they land at the historic Grand Canyon West Ranch nestled under majestic “Spirit Mountain,” site of the Old Mormon Trail and the only natural springs on the West Rim of the Grand Canyon.
· A horse-drawn wagon drives guests on a Joshua Tree lined trail to the Ranch House for their western meal and refreshments.
· They will be entertained by real working cowboys sharing with them their myths, legends, songs and they will have the opportunity for optional horseback riding, or just enjoy watching different ranching activities.
· The flight also includes spectacular views of the majestic Hoover Dam, expansive Lake Mead and a cruise in the helicopter, down the world famous Las Vegas “Strip.”
Ranch Activities
Horseback riding:
30 min ride - $35.00 (approx) payable locally. This ride along the Mormon trail is ideal passengers on the daytime ranch adventure and fits their time on the ranch very well. All pax wear safety helmets as standard.
Clients can do a number of free activities including roping, horse shoe throwing, Gold panning, take a guided tour with a cowboy or simply watch the world go by.
Young Children (Under 2's): As Advised by Heli-USA, they have confirmed that they are not currently flying Children under 2 on any tour’s. A primary reason is the noise factor and the potential damage to Children's ears alongside the comfort of fellow passengers
PLEASE NOTE: CUSTOMERS WILL HAVE TO PAY A FUEL SURCHARGE OF $12.00 PER PERSON (ADULTS & CHILDREN) LOCALLY UPON CHECK-IN.
IMPORTANT - Passenger body weights
All passengers must provide accurate body weights when they book. All passengers are re weighed at check in on very accurate Electronic scales. Any discrepancies will always be picked up. If we do not have inaccurate weights then it must be mentioned that passengers maybe charged 50% of a second seat at check in if they exceed our weight restriction of 250lbs / 113kgs. This is purely a safety measure to ensure no Heli USA aircraft leaves the ground over weight.
