The
New York Rangers are a professional ice hockey team based in New York, New York, United States. They are members of the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL).
Playing their home games at Madison Square Garden, the Rangers are one of the oldest teams in the NHL, having joined in 1926 as an expansion franchise, and are part of the group of teams referred to as the Original Six. The Rangers were the first NHL franchise in the United States to win the Stanley Cup,which they have done four times (most recently in 1994). The team is commonly referred to as its famous nickname, "The Broadway Blueshirts", or more commonly in New York media, as simply the "Blueshirts".

Box Office Hours:
Non-Event Days: Monday - Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday from 10:00am to 6:00pm. Closed Sunday.
Event Days*: Monday - Friday from 9:00am to 1 hour after event start, Saturday from 10:00am to 1 hour after event start. Sunday from 12:00pm to 1 hour after event start
*If an event starts prior to standard box office opening time, the box office will open at 9:00am, and stay open until 1 hour after the event start time.
General Rules
Arrive early, Please arrive one-hour prior to showtime. All packages, including briefcases and pocketbooks, will be inspected prior to entry.
Packages, briefcases, knapsacks, cameras and video equipment will not be allowed in the theater. All patrons will continue to go through a screening process upon entry. As delays are expected, Madison Square Garden requests that for all events, ticket holders arrive as early as possible.

Children Rules: For most events, all children who have reached their second birthday require a ticket to gain admittance to Madison Square Garden. Any child who has yet to reach their second birthday does not require a ticket, however, they may not occupy their own seat and must sit on a parent's or guardian's lap.
Please note, that for certain children's events (such as the Wiggles and Sesame Street Live!), all children who have reached their first birthday require a ticket.

From Kennedy Airport: Take the Belt Parkway West to the Van Wyck Expressway North to the Grand Central Parkway West. From there, take the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway and proceed to Queens Midtown Tunnel and directly to midtown Manhattan. Madison Square Garden is located between 30th and 33rd Streets and 7th and 8th Avenues.
From LaGuardia Airport: Take Grand Central Parkway West to Brooklyn-Queens Expressway. Proceed to Queens Midtown Tunnel and directly to midtown Manhattan. Madison Square Garden is located between 30th and 34th Streets and 7th and 8th Avenues.
From Newark Airport: Take New Jersey Turnpike North to Exit 16. Follow signs for the Lincoln Tunnel and once you get through, head south to 34th Street and east to 7th Avenue.
Special Needs Info
Main Entrance
For your safety, we recommend that you arrive at the Garden one hour before event time as you will be proceeding into the Arena or Theater, part of the way, with the general public. Please be aware that our Garden personnel are available to assist you whenever possible. There are ramps on both sides of the main entrance located at 7th Avenue between 31st and 33rd Streets. To assist with steps from the arcade to the Mall area, there are two (2) wheelchair lifts that can be easily operated by individual patrons.
Arena
Once you have exited the wheelchair lift, proceed to the left and past The Theater entrance. There is an elevator for the disabled located at Tower A to the left-hand side of the Mall area, immediately before the glass doors of the Box Office. Take the elevator to the 7th floor (regardless of the section marked on your ticket) and you will be in the Arena at Gate 70. Enter through the gate and ask one of the ushers for assistance, in order to be situated.
