This tour is highly appealing to the traveler wishing to experience a quality, personal day out of Sydney - away from mainstream tour operators and crowds, that is affordable and uniquely Australian, together with a high standard of personal, individual service.

Travelling in small group comfort in a luxury, air-conditioned minibus, the tour operates every day with a minimum of 2 pax and a maximum of 12.

The tour departs from all Sydney hotels between 6.30 - 7.00am, thus avoiding the traffic. The early start means that only 1 hour and 15 minutes later, guests are roaming amongst wild kangaroos in the lower Blue Mountains National Park, whilst their breakfast is being prepared. This is the time of day when the abundant birdlife and resident kangaroos are at their most active. Freshly baked Australian damper, assorted spreads, fresh fruit, juice, coffee and tea.

Proceeding to the upper Blue Mountains after breakfast, the tour becomes quite flexible, depending upon the groups expectations, the weather and local activities. The spectacular blue vista is introduced via a short bush walk to a magnificent lookout, which never fails to impress. Well-known views such as the 3 Sisters are seen from little known vantage points, away from the tourist crush. The Scenic Railway/Skyway is an optional choice, available at guests’ own expense. Travelling off road onto the impressive Narrowneck Plateau provides a dynamic experience in certain weather conditions. This is a place which guests often find difficult to leave.

Lunch is free time and at guests own choice and expense in a mountain's village. Here they may dine in a restaurant or coffee shop or choose take away and visit the galleries and antique shops. Following lunch we leave the area to visit Featherdale one of Australia’s premier wildlife parks, where koalas and other uniquely Australian animals are observed at very close range.

The tour ends with a relaxing Rivercat ferry return from Homebush Bay the site of the 2000 Olympic Games to the city via the Parramatta River and Sydney Harbour - again avoiding the traffic. Arriving at Circular Quay at 5.05 pm . The earlier return allows ample time to rest and prepare for the evenings activities, or the opportunity to explore the historic Rocks area, a haven for those seeking original aboriginal and local craft.
