The 2008 Hard Rock Calling concert in Hyde Park, London June 28th are presented by Hard Rock International have announced this year’s headline artists.

Returning to Hyde Park over a decade after his last headlining performance, the legendary Eric Clapton (will headline Saturday 28th June, and will be joined by special guests Sheryl Crow and John Mayer, with more acts to be announced shortly.

Nearest Tube: Hyde Park Corner (Piccadilly line)
Enter the park through Queen Elizabeth Gate and follow the Serpentine road.

Bus Routes: 2, 8, 9, 10, 14, 16, 19, 22, 36, 38, 52, 73, 74, 82, 137 all to Hyde Park Corner

Parking: There is no parking available or allowed in the environs of Hyde Park on event days. Pay Parking is available the Marble Arch end of Park Lane (2 car parks), and on Adams Row just off Park Lane.

Terms & Conditions

Any tickets purchased from a non-UK address will automatically be marked to collect at the box office at the venue. You will need to bring your purchase confirmation, the credit card against which your purchase was made, & id.

Tickets purchased less then a week before the event will not be posted out. They will be available for collection from the box office at the venue. You will need to bring your purchase confirmation, the credit card against which your purchase was made, & id.

Please note that the venues will not accept letters of authorization when tickets are collected. The credit card against which the tickets were purchased must be presented.

Age restrictions
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible Adult over the age of 21. You are advised to carry photo ID with proof of age. Everyone is required to have a ticket.

Please note: This event is not not suitable for small children as it will be very loud & busy.

Food and Drink
Food from around the world, from fish‘n’chips to tofu-burgers – there will be plenty of stalls the arena, catering to a wide variety of tastes. Soft Drinks and Beer will be available all day in the main arena from various bars.

Food and drink will be available for purchase at the event. No food or drink will be provided free of charge.

You may bring soft drinks in plastic or paper containers under 500ml as well as food for personal consumption.

The following items are not permitted in to the site:
1. Chairs, tables, barbeques, prima-stoves etc.
2. Alcohol.
3. Glass or cans.
4. Food hampers.

Environmental Initiatives
This event takes place in one of the city’s most beautiful outdoor spaces. We want to keep it that way throughout the event. Please stay green; use the recycling bins provided for cans and plastics, use the litter bins for other waste. There’s a 20p deposit on cups at the bars, to encourage you to hand your old cup in for recycling, plus - look out for other ways you can reduce your carbon footprint on-site at the event.

Remember to use public transport to get to the event, and give yourself at pat on the back for helping us to reduce the events's carbon footprint.

Lost and Found
Do not bring irreplaceable items of value to the event! We will have good security, but we cannot allow for lost or stolen items that are not recovered. Be sensible and keep cash, cards or cameras close about your person. Bring only what you need. There will be a clearly marked customer services tent in the main arena, where any lost and found enquiries should be directed.

What to bring
A hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, rainwear, fleece AND… your ticket ! Bring enough cash for the day, and/or a cash card (keep it safe!)

What not to bring
Do not bring offensive weapons or anything that may be considered offensive. Don’t bring Illegal drugs - Drugs, hard or soft, are no more legal at festivals than they are anywhere else the same penalties and risks apply. However, don't be afraid to tell medical staff or stewards if something is going wrong for you.

Drink responsibly
If you do drink, don't do drunk! Excessive drinking is bad for your health and your memory - surely you want to remember the event for the right reasons. Pace yourself, and have a great time. After all this, however, you may decide to have the odd pint of shandy, and you can be sure to get home safely and in an eco-friendly way – use public transport. Plan Your Day
It’s important to plan your day. Obviously the priority is making sure you get to see the event.

Don’t forget some other basics though – If you are with friends and travelling home together - arrange a place & time to meet up at the end of the night.

Large crowds, a long day & hot weather in combination will tire you out. Make sure you pace yourself, drink plenty of water, eat some food that will give you some energy and minimise sun exposure.

Promoter’s Conditions of sale
This ticket is issued on behalf of the organisation responsible for the performance or event shown on the face including the promoter and venue and is subject to the terms and conditions indicated on this ticket or displayed on the premises. Purchasers should note that this ticket is sold by an agent for the organisation responsible for the event, and details of the organiser/promoter are available on request from authorised ticketing agents.
Purchase and possession of this signifies agreement to the following conditions:

1. This ticket is issued subject to the rules and regulations of the site owners, operators and management. 2. It is a licensing condition that every person entering the event site must have a valid ticket.
3. Ticket holders are required to carefully check their tickets in advance of their visit; mistakes may not be rectified on the day. Tickets should be retained at all times during the event.
4. The event promoter reserves the right to refuse entry of the ticket holder to the event site. Customers found to be causing damage to the site, the site infrastructure, causing harm to any other person on site or in breach of these conditions will be subject to prosecution.
5. The event promoter reserves the right to search all persons and personal property and refuse admission to, or eject from, the site any person who refuses to be searched by a security official.
6. Any person found to be behaving in a manner deemed unsociable or potentially dangerous will be ejected from the festival site without refund.
7. This ticket is not transferable. No money will be refunded or tickets exchanged after purchase unless the event is cancelled. In the event of cancellation, the promoter’s sole obligation and liability shall be to offer a ticket for an alternative performance by the relevant artist, if available, or a full refund of the face value of this ticket. No other claims will be entertained.
8. No readmission.
9. No tickets may be used for competitions, promotions or hospitality packages without the written consent of the event promoter. Any ticket re-sold or transferred in such a manner will become voidable and the holder may be refused admission or ejected from the site.
10. Admission to the site and performance is at the ticket holder’s own risk. Neither the promoter nor the site management shall be held liable for any injury or damage sustained within the site.
11. Ticket holders give their express consent to the use of their actual or simulated likeness in connection with the production, exhibition, advertising or exploitation of any film, video and/or audio recording of this event and/or any element thereof in any/all media throughout the world.
12. Unauthorised photography or use of recording equipment is prohibited. No audio, audio visual or cinematographic devices shall be brought in to the site.
13. The event promoter reserves the right to make any change whatsoever to the act programme owing to any unforeseen or unavoidable cause.
14. Neither the venue nor the promoter can accept responsibility for lost or stolen property.
15. This event is not suitable for young children. Adults must accompany all children under the age of 16.
16. This festival takes place outdoors. Customers are advised to wear appropriate clothing and footwear and protection against potential inclement weather.
17. Strobe lighting may be used during the festival.
18. With the exception of dogs assisting the visually impaired, no animals are permitted onto the site.
19. Only buy official merchandise from identified vendors within the event site. For further help on the day, please refer to the on-site information desk.
20. No trading without the prior consent of the promoters.
21. Customers are not permitted to create cordoned off areas anywhere on site.
22. No illegal substances may be brought in to the festival site – any found will lead to prosecution.
23. Fireworks, smoke canisters, offensive weapons or other similar articles are not permitted within the site, and any person in possession of such articles may be refused entry or ejected. Items with an open flame (e.g. candles, garden fires, barbeques, gas/paraffin lamps) will not be permitted on site.
24. Strictly no camping.
25. WARNING – Prolonged exposure to loud noise may cause damage to your hearing.

The possession of this ticket shall constitute an acceptance by the holder of these conditions and imply an undertaking on the part of the holder to observe them. In the event of any breach of these conditions, the event promoter reserves the right to cancel this ticket and retain any monies paid therefore.

Other than the provisions advertised or outlined by the box office at the time of sale, customers are required to address any special needs by contacting the box office in advance of their visit, as the event promoter may not be able to provide those needs without notice.
