Modern jazz from Robert Balzar, Stanislav Mácha and Jǐří Slavíček - the Robert Balzar Trio.

USP Jazz Lounge is no dingy basement though. Entrance is via the lobby area of the U Staré Pani hotel. Descend the stairway, lit by small votive candles on both sides, and you enter a brightly decorated, renovated room, positively oozing with ambiance.

Some of Prague's best local jazz acts are in residence here. However, the club is popular and can fill quickly, so arrive early to secure the best seats. In fact, chances are you'll end up sharing a table.

Whether you're looking for great jazz or just want to get together with friends for an evening out, the USP Jazz Club in Prague is a fine choice.
