We cross Paris by the north western districts and take the motorway in the direction of Pontoise arriving in Auvers sur-Oise (average 1 hour journey). Our day begins with a guided visit on foot of the village as far as the cemetery with Vincent Van Goghs grave.
We continue in the direction of Giverny along the scenic routes of the Val d’Oise region and arrive around midday. Lunch at the American Museum followed by free time to visit the collection of paintings. The remainder of our afternoon is dedicated to our visit of Claude Monet’s house and gardens. Due to the limited size of Monet’s home, guided inside visits are not permitted and for this reason, our guide will provide full information on the house during our visit of Monet’s gardens before allowing free time for an inside visit.
