Kennedy Space Center is located on one of Florida's largest nature reserves, so why not combine your day at Kennedy with a fascinating tour of the area with an exhilarating airboat ride?

- After a 45 minute drive the first stop is the Midway Fish Camp where you will have a 30 minute fully narrated airboat ride on the St. John's River. While zipping along on this airboat you will see alligators, eagles and other animals natural to Florida. The airboat captains love to whisk you around, not only giving you a fast & fun ride but also detailed narration on the fascinating eco-system of Florida. Back on land, you can have the opportunity to come face to face with one of Florida's locals & if you're feeling brave enough why not hold a baby alligator?!

- From here there is a 30 minute drive to the Kennedy Space Center where you will spend the rest of the day (arrive at approx. 10.30am)!

- Highlights of the tour include the Saturn V center, the Observation Gantry, where you can view the impressive launch site, as well as being able to touch the moon & take part in your very own space shuttle countdown! Admission to the Imax movies are also included

- Over at the main visitors complex have an interview with an astronaut, watch the incredible Imax movies, stroll through the rocket garden & even step on board a space craft! You'll also find a huge memorial dedicated to the Challenger & Columbia astronauts which is well worth going to see.

- This tour is suaitable for all ages - there is lots of walking required.

- Depart Kennedy Space Center at approx 5.30pm
Arrive in Orlando at approx 7.00pm.

The guest must be able to get on and off a bus and airboat and there are no lifts. Drivers and guides are not permitted to lift guests but their family can.
