Manoa Waterfall Hike

This adventure will fulfill all your fantasies about Hawaii’s lush rainforests, giant ferns, cascading tropical waterfalls, picturesque streams and unique species that can be found nowhere else on Earth.

This trail, a hidden treasure that was used by Spielberg while filming "Lost World", leads to the tallest accessible waterfall on Oahu, deep within a prehistoric landscape.

Operation: Twice Daily, Monday through Friday

Times: Hotel Pickup 8:00 AM, Return 12:00 PM
Or Hotel Pickup 2:00 PM, Return 6:00 PM

Fitness Level: Moderate

Trail Condition: Sometimes wet & slippery

Walking Time: 2 hours

Please call ahead to provide your pickup location. Present your voucher to the Oahu Nature tour employee at the time of the tour departure.

What to bring on the hikes


Comfortable walking shoes. Tennis shoes are great but no slippers or high heels. Plenty of film. Sun block or sun screen is recommended for the Natural Highlights of Oahu Adventure.

Additional Information

  • Maximum of 14 people per tour.
  • All of our hikes are suitable for children 6 years or older.
  • Our guides carry cellular phones a first aid kit and have American Red Cross certification in CPR and first aid.
  • Tour operate rain or shine. Rain gear and walking staffs are provided for all guests.
  • Oahu Nature Tours van will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel.
  • Making reservations at least one week in advance is highly recommended.

Cancellation Policy


A minimum of 24 hours notice before the tour begins is required for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours of departure will be charged full price.
