Hawaii's Royal History

Step back in time on this unforgettable and exciting adventure as you visit the historic highlights of the Kingdom of Hawaii and discover a myth endowed hidden waterfall.

Traveling into the lush Nuuanu Valley, our first stop is Queen Emma's Summer Palace where a past era comes alive. Next, we drive through a tropical rainforest en route to the world famous Pali Lookout. After driving through a spectacular tree-tunnel we arrive at Hawaii's sacred Royal Mausoleum,"Mauna ‘Ala", the final resting place of six of the kingdom's last eight ruling monarchs. Next, we walk along a cool stream to observe ancient Hawaiian petroglyphs and visit scenic Kapena Falls. You will also see the historic sites of Iolani Palace, the legendary King Kamehameha's statue and unique Kawaiahao Church, "the Westminster Abbey of Hawaii".

Voucher Redemption Information


Please call ahead to provide your pickup location. Present your voucher to the Oahu Nature tour employee at the time of the tour departure.

What to bring on the hikes


Comfortable walking shoes. Tennis shoes are great but no slippers or high heels. Plenty of film. Sun block or sun screen is recommended for the Natural Highlights of Oahu Adventure.

Additional Information

  • Maximum of 14 people per tour.
  • All of our hikes are suitable for children 6 years or older.
  • Our guides carry cellular phones a first aid kit and have American Red Cross certification in CPR and first aid.
  • Tour operate rain or shine. Rain gear and walking staffs are provided for all guests.
  • Oahu Nature Tours van will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel.
  • Making reservations at least one week in advance is highly recommended.

Cancellation Policy


A minimum of 24 hours notice before the tour begins is required for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours of departure will be charged full price.
