Since start-up in 2003, Download Festival has grown annually to be the major annual metal and rock event.

Please note: The promoter Live Nation are going on sale with very few acts confirmed. Customers should be aware that at no point will refunds be issued if you are unhappy with the bill. If you are unsure about attending then you may prefer to wait until further acts are confirmed on the bill before booking. The choice is yours.

Other bands confirmed to play are UK rock gods Judas Priest and Mötorhead, Finnish sensations HIM and Chicago rockers Rise Against.

These tickets is valid for general admission entry on a single, Friday 13th - Sunday 15th June 2008. Camping passes ae not valid when held with only day tickets - you will need weekend tickets to camp at the site. Parking passes are available separately.

Event & Ticket info

Weekend Arena tickets, day arena and Camping passes do not include Car Parking.
Car parking passes must be purchased separately. Car parking passes can be purchased in advance for £10.00 and will also be available on site for £15.00.
Camping passes must be pre-purchased as they will not be available on site.
Camping passes do not admit to the arena
Your camping pass is a set fee (£20.00) regardless of the length of your stay. It will allow you access to the relevant campsite for all six days the campsites are open.
The Family Camping Area is a quieter campsite, you do not have to be a family or have children to camp here – but it is a quiet area.


Travel to the Venue

By Road: Donington Park lies where the three counties of Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire meet. In virtually the middle of the country it has excellent connections being only 3 miles from the major trunk routes of the M1/M42 and A50.

From the South via the M1:
Leave the M1 at Junction 23a, following signs for East Midlands Airport, (A453) and the brown tourist signs for Donington Park. Go past the main entrance to the airport, (traffic lights) and proceed straight on. Directions to Donington Park's main entrance will be clearly sign posted thereafter.

From the North via the M1:
Leave at Junction 24a and onto the A50 Westbound. Then follow Donington Park event signage.

From the South West via the M5/M40 to the M42:
From the M5 join the M42 at Junction 4a and from the M40 join the M42 northbound at Junction 3a. Continue northbound on the M42/A42. At Junction 14 follow Donington Park event signage

From the North via the M6/A50:
Leave the M6 at Junction 15 heading for Stoke-on-Trent and the Uttoxeter (A50 bypass). Once onto the A50 continue right through following the signs to Uttoxeter/Derby and later picking up signs for the M1. The A50 continues past Uttoxeter over the A38, picking up more signs for the M1. Then follow Donington Park event signage.

Public Transport: Major railway stations at Derby and Loughborough are approximately twenty minutes away (by taxi or bus).

There are pay shuttle buses at both stations running to & from the festival site, starting on Wednesday 11th June & finishing on Monday 16th June 2007. The fare will be approx £6.00 - £7.00

• Children between the ages of 8 and 12yrs can purchase half price tickets on the door, provided they are accompanied by an adult
