David Gray’s Number 1 album White Ladder has been certified seven-times Platinum in the UK. That would have sounded about as unlikely as unlikely could be when David released the album in 1998 - the first album to be released on his own label, following three critically acclaimed but commercially overlooked albums. Without advertising, promotion or marketing it has become a true phenomena based on the very 'un-now' idea of the strength of its material alone. David received his first Grammy nomination this year, following Ivor Novello and Q Magazine awards for the single ‘Babylon’. David now returns for a major UK arena tour to thank his fans, play the classics and showcase some much anticipated new material.
