Eternal Rome:

Bus departs from Piazza Esquilino Bus Terminal.

Visit the Republic Square with the Fountain of the Nymphs created by Mario Rutelli, walk on the Spanish Steps, the most famous square in Rome with its 138 steps and the Fountain of the Barcaccia (created by Bernini).

You will also get a chance to visit the Trevi Fountain, which was created by Nicola Salvi, and the Pantheon, a real architectural wonder of the Ancient Rome, also admired and studied by Michelangelo. Today it's the burial ground of Raffaello and of some Italian Kings.

During this trip you will also visit the Navona Square, a typical baroque square, which was a stadium buit by Caesar Domiziano in 92 A.C. These days it is known sa the square of the artists and the "Four Rivers Fountain" that dominates the square hosts on the top of an original Egyptian obelisk.

Imperial Rome:

Visit the Capitol, the Roman Forums, the Colosseum and Michelangelo's Moses.

The Tour departs from Piazza dell'Esquilino Bus Terminal.

Visit the Piazza Venezia, Rome Historical Centre with "The Vittoriano" the altar dedicated to the King Vittorio Emanuele II in 1911.

The Capitol is one of the seven hills of Rome, today the Major's house. The Capitol Square is a work of Michelangelo dating back to the 16th century together with a marvellous stairways called "The Cordonata".

The Roman Forums were the political, military and social centre of the whole Roman Empire. You will also visit the Temple of Julius Caesar and the Basillica Emilia, The Arch of Titus and the Holy Road.

The Colosseum, Rome's greatest amphitheatre built by the Emperor Vespasian in 72 A.C. with easy access to 50,000 people.

The Basilica of San Pietro in Vincoli was built in 459 a.d. to preserve the chains of Peter displayed under the main altar. The statue of Moses is a Michelangelo's masterpiece, made when he was 42 years old.
