Experience the delights of Galway Bay surrounded by the Burren region and the Cliffs of Moher, facing spectacular Connemara across the water with the Aran Islands lying at the mouth of this world famous inlet. Staying in a three star hotel in the heart of vibrant & Cultural Galway City (the City of the Tribes).
ITINERARYDay 1 Check in Dublin Heuston station (Customer Service Desk) 07.00 for departure of InterCity train to Limerick (breakfast available). Day 2 10.30a.m. transfer to Connemara Airport for flight to Innismor where we join our tour of the islands, time for lunch at Kilronan before our vist to the magnificent ancient fort Dn Aengus. Return flight and transfer back to Galway city late afternoon. Overnight as before. Day 3 10:00am we head into magnificent Connemara where John Ford filmed "The Quiet Man" in 1951, taking in Kylemore Abbey (photo stop only), Leenane, Roundstone, the Coral Beach and the Sky Road. See lots of breathtaking wild Atlantic coastline. We return to Galway for our return InterCity train to Dublin Heuston arriving at 20.55. Departs Daily (Monday - Saturday). Tour InfoTimes: Daily @ 7.10am Running Time: 3 days Check in Dublin Heuston station (Customer Service Desk) for 7am departure of InterCity train to Cork, at least half hour prior to departure.
