Skywalk is a unique high-altitude adventure on top of Sydney Tower. At 260 metres above Sydney, experience an exhilarating outdoor walk on the roof of the city.

Dressed in protective clothing and safety-harnessed to external walkways, Skywalkers experience a buzz unmatched by any other Sydney attraction, at double the height of Sydney Harbor Bridge and the same height as the Eiffel Tower. Step out onto the clouds as you venture across the glass-floored viewing platform for unique 360-degree views over glittering Sydney and beyond.

Expert Skyguides accompany you on your journey, providing colourful commentary. From the citys famous golden beaches to the distant Blue Mountains, push your willpower to the edge as you face Sydney like never before: feel the high-altitude breeze, touch the clouds or simply hang out on the horizon.

What should I wear on my Skywalk?
You should wear comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for walking. Regulations require enclosed shoes with no open toes; we suggest wearing shoes that offer support & grip. You will be provided with an all-weather Skysuit to protect you from the elements, as well as beanie, gloves & rain-jacket if required. The Skysuit is worn over your own clothing. No loose items will be allowed on the Skywalk. Guests with eye-glasses & sun-glasses will be provided with an attachment to secure them.

Can I take my camera on Skywalk?
No, loose items cannot be taken on Skywalk, including cameras, cam-corders and mobile phones. Your Skyguide will take photos of you and these photos will be available to purchase at the end of your Skywalk, from the Skyshop on Podium Level. You can purchase printed copies or a CD of images.

What will I do with my valuables?
Lockers are provided to keep your valuables secure, including handbags, cameras, mobile phones & loose coins. These are big enough to fit only a small back-pack. We are unable to safely store larger backpacks or suitcases.

Do Skywalks depart in all weather conditions?
Skywalks depart every day of the week, all year (except Christmas Day).
They run in all weather conditions (except lightning). During wet weather conditions you will be supplied with an all-weather Skysuit.

Is Skywalk wheelchair accessible?
Yes, Skywalk is wheelchair accessible. Please note that to book your tickets you must phone or email us.

Are there any age restrictions?
Yes, Skywalkers are restricted to
10 years+ for safety requirements.

Are there any health restrictions?
Skywalkers must sign a declaration form that states you do not suffer from any medical conditions that prevent you from comfortably and safely completing your Skywalk.

What about drinking alcohol prior to doing a Skywalk?
As all Skywalkers will be breath tested upon check in, it is imperative you do not drink alcohol prior to your Skywalk. You will not be permitted to take part if your Blood Alcohol Concentration is 0.05% or greater, or if you are under the influence of drugs (legal or illegal). If you refuse to be breath tested you will not be able to participate and your ticket will be non-refundable.

Vouchers are handed in at the ticket counters in exchange for entry tickets.
