After being transferred from your hotel, we will cruise on the Sea of Marmara and travel to Büyükada, the largest and the best known of the Princes’ Islands. After lunch at a restaurant, we will tour the island in one of the horse-drawn carriages known as “phaetons”, the only vehicles permitted on the islands roads. We will then have time free for shopping and leisure.

Guests will be taken to one of the best nightclub to feast on Turkish delicacies as part of a 4 course dinner with limited local drinks. During the dinner Oriental floor show performed by several belly dancers.Folk dances performed by a professional team, they will performing their dances from different regions of Turkey. We depart from the hotel to explore the highlights of the historical monuments. Visit Suleymaniye Mosque, Byzantine Hippodrome, in which stand the obelisk brought from Egypt by Theodosius and the Serpent Column taken from Delphi by Constantine. The Blue Mosque, which has six minarets and a middle dome of 109 feet, is the next stop before St. Sophia, an originally Christian Basilica, conceived by Constantine and rebuilt by Justinian, then turned into a mosque in 1453 by Sultan Mehmet the Conqueror.

In 1920s Ataturk made it a museum for all regardless of creed. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon visit Topkapi Palace (*) which served as the home of Ottoman Sultans for 400 years and now serves as a museum with a exquisite collection of Chinese porcelain and Ottoman treasury. The Grand Covered Bazaar dating back to XVth century, which has over 2,000 shops under one roof, before returning to the hotel visit .Rustem Pasha Mosque; a 16th century Ottoman mosque which has the best examples of Ýznik tiles and Spice Market, an oriental shopping area where you could find lots of spices, exotic fruits and souveniors.

St. Sophia is closed on Mondays when it is replaced on the tour by the Basilica Cistern.

The Grand Bazaar and the Spice Market is closed on Sundays.
The Topkapý Palace is closed on Tuesdays.
