Formed in 2007, the troupe are made up of members from East London (Dagenham, Leytonstone), and Essex and comprise three sets of brothers and four of their friends. Some are still at school or university but the older members include an IT systems engineer, a bathroom installer, and a telecoms engineer.

The group, ranging in age from 13 to 26 during the filming of Britain's Got Talent, are: Ashley Banjo, Jordan Banjo, Sam Craske, Mitchell Craske, Ian McNaughton, Jamie McNaughton, Matthew McNaughton, Perri Luc Kiely, Warren Russell, Ike Ezekwugo and Terry Smith.

The group won the third series of Britain's Got Talent. All the judges praised their performance with Amanda Holden saying 'this show is just so brilliant because just when I think I've seen it all and nothing could get any better you came on'.[6] Piers Morgan described Banjo's choreography as 'genius' and said they were 'right up there with the best of the dancers we've seen'.

Fanfarlo is a London based band formed by the Swedish musician Simon Balthazar (vocals, guitar, clarinet). Their name refers to Charles Baudelaire’s novella, “La Fanfarlo.”

After issuing the singles Talking Backwards, You Are One Of The Few Outsiders Who Really Understands Us, Fire Escape and Harold T. Wilkins on four independent labels between 2006 and 2008, Fanfarlo travelled to Peter Katis’s studio in Connecticut, USA to record their debut album, Reservoir. The album was self-released in February 2009 to coincide with a tour of England and Scotland, including dates supporting Snow Patrol.

Chicane is an Electronic Dance Music act, and the guise of British Musician, Composer and Record Producer Nicholas Bracegirdle. He was born on February 28th 1971, in Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire.
