"Féerie", the Moulin Rouge's new show

"Féerie” consists of : a troupe of 100 artists, including the 60 Doriss Girls that were recruited world-wide ; 1000 costumes of feathers, rhinestones and sequins and set up in the most famous Parisian workshops ; sumptuous sets in shimmering colours uniquely designed by Italian artists ; the best outstanding international acts ; and the awaited return of the giant Aquarium, all this performed to original music recorded by 80 musicians and 60 members of the chorus.

"The Moulin Rouge today and yesterday, the Moulin Rouge forever"

The theatre lights go down, the curtain is raised…and the entire troupe appears on stage, under the admiring gaze of the audience who find themselves entering the Garden of the Moulin Rouge to discover the magical atmosphere of the place ! A touch of nostalgia.
From this moment on, the spectators let themselves be enthrolled by the beauty of the Doriss Girls and the Doriss Dancers!

"Sandokan"
What kind of adventures can happen to a pirate whose boat is anchored in Indonesia ? Dreams ? A perfect woman’s love ? …
Once in the land, one meets priestesses, or a Gorgon in her temple surrounded by snakes… one can even attend the Governor’s Ball ! Sandokan has the opportunity to offer his treasures to the lady of his dreams or will we be witnesses to a sacrifice of love ?

"The Circus"
The circus comes to town… with its band of clowns, Siamese twins, pierrots, acrobats, jugglers, weird wild animals and six miniature horses ! Colourful scenes to beautiful music ending with the great parade of the Doriss Girls and Doriss Dancers.

"The Moulin Rouge from 1900 to…"
The Moulin Rouge pays a tribute to Parisian women throughout the years : on the 14th of July, for the Liberation of Paris … with Java or Boogie music. Time passes and leaves space for new generations of women, more beautiful and free than ever !

At the highlight of this tribute, the Doriss Girls dance the world famous French Cancan !
The Segway tour is the perfect tour for both those new to the city and Parisian veterans. For the beginners, this tour will offer you a fantastic orientation and give you an opportunity to see virtually all of the sites you've read about. For the veterans, we're positive you'll learn new facts and stories about Paris that you've never heard. And we're sure you'll both agree that riding a Segway is the best way to see the 'City of Light'.

The Eiffel Tower

The symbol of Paris, built by Gustave Eiffel as the entrance for the World Exposition of 1889 and stood as the tallest building in the world until New York City's Chrysler building in 1930.

Napolon's Tomb

Originally built by King Louis XIV in 1676 as an exclusive place or worship for the Royal family. Ceased functioning as a church during the Revolution and is now the resting place of the most famous Frenchman in history.

Muse D'Orsay

Designed for the 1900 Universal Exhibition and originally a train station. It reopened in 1986 as the museum hosting a world-class collection of Impressionist paintings.

Louvre Museum

Originally built as a fort by King Philippe-Auguste in 1190, now one of the grandest museums in the world. The most famous works include the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo and Winged Victory of Samothrace.

Tuileries Gardens

Former Royal Gardens in the middle of the city where we'll settle down for lunch at a caf nestled in the chestnut trees (price not included).

Champs-Elyses

The most famous avenue in the world. Its sidewalks are lined with cafs, cinemas, 5-star hotels and shops. We see the Champs-Elyses from the Place de la Concorde.

Arc de Triomphe

Commissioned by Napolon to honor his army after their greatest victory, the Battle of Austerlitz in 1805. Napolon promised his men, "you shall return home beneath triumphal arches." We see the Arc de Triomphe from the Place de la Concorde at the bottom of the Champs-Elyses.
His unique house, the quaint villages of Vernon & Giverny and our fabulous bicycle ride along the Seine are a welcome change from the hustle-bustle of Paris. Allow us to make the out-of-town trip an easy and enjoyable one for you.

We'll go by rail through the beautiful wheat & sunflower fields of Normandy to the village of Vernon. There we'll collect our bikes, head to the market for picnic supplies and then to lunch along the river in a beautiful park. Finally we'll pedal down our private path to Monet's gardens where we'll spend the afternoon inside the most gorgeous landscape in Normandy.

Monet's Gardens

Imagine stepping into the canvas of your favorite Monet painting. Beautiful flowers, the Japanese Bridge and the famous water lilies await you.

Monet's House

Monet and his family moved here in May 1883 and he lived here until his death in 1926. Visitors may explore the interior of his house and also see his collection of Japanese art.

Monet's Gravesite

Monet died on December 5th, 1926 at the age of 86 and is buried along with his family at the small Giverny church. Monet desired a simple burial and roughly only 50 people attended his service.

Picnic along the Seine

A beautiful park along the Seine with the vieux moulin just off the bank. Relax in the grass or take a seat at a picnic table while you enjoy your meal.

Bike Ride

A leisurely 5km bike path is nestled between the bluffs and the Seine River. We ride from Vernon to Giverny on this path.
Allow us to bring you the most famous "house" in the world as few others have experienced it. After meeting at our Paris office, we'll ride our bicycles to the nearest RER station for the quick train trip to Versailles.

Once at Versailles, we'll first visit the village market to buy baguettes, cheese, ham, wine or whatever you desire for our picnic later in the Chateau's gardens. We will then spend most of our day riding through the tree-lined gardens and near the Grand Canal. The average Versailles tourist doesn't realize that they can only visit a small fraction of the gardens on foot. We'll see it all!

Hall of Mirrors

Used by King Louis XIV as the place to welcome important guests (and also for opulent parties). Try to imagine walking the length of the Hall with servants lining both sides and King Louis himself sitting in a chair at the far end. Also the site of the signing of the Treaty of Versailles in 1919 that officially ended World War I.

Chateau Gardens

The world-famous gardens are alone worth the trip. We spend most of our day in the outer gardens and along the Grand Canal. These are only enjoyed on a bicycle and are virtually impossible to see on foot. Our guests typically enjoy the gardens even more than the Chateau

The Chateau

Located some 20 kilometers southwest of Paris, it was originally the royal hunting lodge. King Louis XIV moved his court officially to Versailles in 1682 and it became the seat of the French government and monarchy. The Chteau housed the royal family until 1789 when Revolutionaries forced them to return to Paris.

Grand & Petit Trianons

Built by Kings Louis XIV and XV respectively, they offer a fantastic view into the original Versailles. Each is located in the exterior gardens, away from the Chateau. Charles de Gaulle had an office in the Grand Trianon after World War II.

Versailles Open Market

Our first stop at Versailles will be at the world-famous market to shop for our picnic supplies. Stock up on fruit, cheese, meats, wine and, of course, pastries. Be sure to bring your appetite and a corkscrew.

Picnic along the Grand Canal

We settle down at the far end of the Grand Canal for the best picnic of your life. Typically everyone buys a litttle too much of something and it becomes a feast for all.
He revisits the saga of the one who would become the Awakened One or Buddha, bringing a personal interpretation exploring the themes of new challenges, ordeals and sacrifices in the quest for an absolute. Moving beyond mere narrative, he reveals the torments and mysteries of a long inner journey riddled with pitfalls, uncertainties and doubts. Preljocaj shares his journey with two artists with strong personalities : Bruno Mantovani, the brilliant, young French composer, whose first work this is for the Paris Opera, and Claude Lvque, the visual artist and scenographer, with his powerful ability to dream up new spaces for our time.
This time, far from royal quarrels and feuds between famous historical characters, he finds his heroine in a small Swiss village. The modest and charming Amina is in fact a sleepwalker who, escaping from her bedroom, becomes another person as she wanders through the night. A score written in daydream where melody seems to be suspended in time and the heroine's very soul rises to the surface, and where instruments take on transparent water-colour tones. This elegiac universe is home to one of the most beautiful arias of the entire repertoire, Ah, non credea mirarti, a miracle of moonlit poetry. At the same time, Bellini portrays the cruellest of worlds our own where it is more than difficult for fragility and gentleness to make a place for themselves.
