Emily stares out of the window, hugs her teddy and waits excitedly Christmas morning, while in the corner a little mouse called Eddie can't understand why only humans are allowed to celebrate and get presents. So he sets off in search of Father Christmas to find out for himself. Along the way he dodges the family cat, gets directions from a cowardly toy soldier and is given some unexpected advice from the magical fairy on top of the tree.

The enchanting Christmas markets will become the backdrop for your tales of ghosts and the sinister side of the city. Flecky will also wait impatiently whilst he allows free time to explore the St Ann's square Christmas market. The walk starts at the normal time and place but will finish at 9pm and all this for the unbelievable price of £6 & £5!

Underneath the city centre are tunnels which date back to the Victorian times.
These tunnels are the home to the 'Forgotten People' of Manchester. They are known as 'The Night Nurgers' and Flecky is their leader. His eyes are the colour of frost and he dresses in what he finds as he wanders the damp dark underworld. He survives by scavenging on what the public have dropped down the sky-grids or what the putrid black rivers provide. But now he wants more, more for himself and his people. To provide his people with income for their needs Flecky rises to ground level a few times each week to entertain the mortals who want to hear stories of ghosts and about the sinister side of his city.

In order to meet phenomenal demand and bring new and exciting attractions to the event, it has just been announced that Hyde Park Winter Wonderland will be extended to an enormous 20 acres.

With a full 360° panoramic view 200 feet above Hyde Park, the Winter Wonderland Wheel offers the chance to view Hyde Park and London from a very different perspective. Up to six people will be able to fit into each of the wheel's heated 40 pods for the approximately 13 minute ride.

In order to meet phenomenal demand and bring new and exciting attractions to the event, it has just been announced that Hyde Park Winter Wonderland will be extended to an enormous 20 acres.

Family-favourite, Zippos Circus, will appear at Winter Wonderland this year, with a special festive circus show - the very first of its kind to been seen in Hyde Park, London. The enchanting show will run from November 21st 2009 to January 3rd 2010.

There will be two Christmas shows for the public to enjoy – by day they can join Timoni the Elf and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer who will open up a magical toy box to reveal a thrilling line up of colourful circus stars.

By night Zippos Big Top will be transformed into a Palace of Grand Illusion when international illusionist, Guy Barrett, enters the ring in a fast paced, non-stop show of mystery. He will be supported by a cast of sensational acts and glamorous assistants.
