Digitally growing plants and a mechanical eye that mirrors the blink of a visitor&amp;#39;s gaze will be among the digital works that will feature in Decode: Digital Design Sensations. The exhibition will show the latest developments in digital and interactive design, from small screen based graphics to large-scale installations. Curated in collaboration with leading digital arts organisation onedotzero, there will be works by established international artists and designers including Daniel Brown, Golan Levin and Daniel Rozin as well as emerging designers such as Troika and Simon Heijdens.&lt;br /&gt;
The exhibition will be centred in the Porter Gallery with a series of interventions throughout the Museum and garden as well as a number of specially commissioned one-off performances. Today, Brookgreen Gardens is a National Historic Landmark with the most significant collection of figurative sculpture, in an outdoor setting, by American artists in the world, and has the only zoo accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums on the coast of the Carolinas.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
A walk through the Gardens and the Zoo takes a couple of hours, but general admission is good for seven consecutive days so visitors have plenty of time to take tours, excursions, and enjoy all that Brookgreen has to offer. Brookgreen also offers a variety of daily programs, exhibitions, excursions and special events that change seasonally.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Brookgreen Gardens is open seven days a week from 9:30 a.m. through 5 p.m. It is closed only on Christmas Day.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Child rates are available for ages 6-12 years; ages 5 and under are free.  Rates are available for Seniors ages 65 and above.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;li&gt;The gardens, Keepsakes Shop, Pavilion Restaurant, Courtyard Cafe, and the creek excursions are handicapped accessible. Individual push-style adult and child strollers are available at the Welcome Center on a first come, first serve basis at no additional cost.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Bicycles are only permitted on the paved roads at Brookgreen. Pets are not permitted.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Brookgreen has three food service venues. For visitors who would like to bring their own food, our picnic facility is located near the Jessamine Pond, across from the Sculpture Gardens. Showcasing some of the most personal and iconic memorabilia from The King of Pop&amp;#39;s extraordinary life, Michael Jackson: The Official Exhibition will celebrate his unparalleled career, opening for a limited run starting 28 October 2009 in London.&lt;br /&gt;

The exhibit will chronicle Michael&amp;#39;s rise to fame with The Jackson 5 at Motown Records, his record-breaking solo career as a global superstar, and end with the spectacular shows he had planned for The O2 Arena before his untimely death. This extensive, never-before-seen collection will be exhibited across nine different themed galleries and include more than 250 objects.&lt;br /&gt;

Michael Jackson: The Official Exhibition will include items that have never been seen up close by the public. Michael Jackson&amp;#39;s estate has opened up his extensive archives from his homes, Neverland Ranch, concert collections and video vault to present more than 250 items, including awards, clothing items and a wide range of personal belongings.&lt;br /&gt;

Each quilt has a unique story to tell either personal or as a representation of broader historic themes such as consumerism, luxury, utility and creativity.&amp;#160; The exhibition will unravel some of these complex narratives.&lt;br /&gt;

This gallery showcases the evolution of the criminal through the ages, from greed-driven pirates to the gunslingers of the Old American West and today's white collar criminals. Sinister masterminds are depicted along with their crimes commited throughout history...both solved and unsolved. &lt;br /&gt;

&lt;strong&gt;Punishment:  The Consequence of Crime &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
From a lie detector test to the booking and mug shot rooms, the NMCP's full-scale model police station presents first-hand the severity involved when criminals get caught.  This gallery also features the ultimate implements of punishment including the guillotine, gas chamber, and electric chair. &lt;br /&gt;

&lt;strong&gt;Crime Fighting &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
The NMCP's "Crime Fighting Agency" maps America's law enforcement community, showcasing the vast network of crime fighting and investigatory personnel dedicated to making our world as safe as possible.  With high speed police chase simulators, a simulated FBI shooting range, and bomb squad technology. &lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;CSI Experience &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Guests become crime scene investigators as they encounter a fully intact crime scene and begin to gather clues to determine what happened.  The CSI experience includes a medical examiners laboratory and forensic science technology such as fingerprinting, DNA testing, and facial reconstruction.  &lt;br /&gt;

&lt;strong&gt;America's Most Wanted:  John Walsh's Personal Story &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
The filming studios of America's Most Wanted and its national call center are located in this gallery, which explores John Walsh's personal story and the significant impact his television show has made on crime in this country.  Touch-screen technology and zip code analysis offer information about crime prevention within local communities. &lt;br /&gt;

&lt;STRONG&gt;The Zev and Shifra Karkomi Permanent Exhibition&lt;/STRONG&gt;   &lt;br /&gt;
The Exhibition tells the story of the Holocaust, from pre-war German life through ghetto life and concentration camps to eventual liberation and resettlement throughout the world, with a special focus on post-war life in Israel and Skokie.  More than 500 artifacts, documents and photographs help illustrate the narrative of the Holocaust while testimonies from local survivors add personal detail. A German Rail Car of the type used in Nazi deportation programs sits in the cleave of the building.  As you pass, feel free to enter the rail car.  The exhibition concludes with a summary film in the Pritzker Theater that connects the lessons of the Holocaust with other Genocides.  &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The average visit time is one to two hours. This exhibition is recommended for visitors 12 years of age and older.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;STRONG&gt;Make a Difference: The Miller Family Youth Exhibition  &lt;/STRONG&gt; &lt;br /&gt;
Make a Difference: The Miller Family Youth Exhibition is designed for younger visitors aged 8-11, although everyone will find something engaging in this space. The exhibitions interactive and hands-on activities in the McDonald&amp;#39;s Friendship Park help younger visitors identify who they are as individuals, explore what it takes to care for themselves and others, and how to make the difficult decisions that lead to being an upstander rather than a bystander. ITW&amp;#39;s state-of-the-art &amp;quot;Take a Stand&amp;quot; exhibit is a virtual-reality experience that provides a safe forum for our younger visitors to explore their impact on their environment and how their decisions and actions affect others. The Polk Bros Global Community Theater offers a variety of film and live experiences.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;STRONG&gt;Legacy of Absence Gallery  &lt;/STRONG&gt; &lt;br /&gt;
The Legacy of Absence Gallery focuses on the feelings of sadness and loss that continue in the shadow of the Holocaust and other modern genocides, including Cambodia, Rwanda and the Soviet Gulag. Through various artistic perspectives, these six galleries will help visitors gain an understanding of the impact of the Holocaust, genocide and human rights abuses on the individual and the various ways they express these feelings. The gallery features photographs, works of contemporary art, and multimedia displays from world-renowned artists such as Samuel Bak, Betye Saar and Jozef Szajna, among many others.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;STRONG&gt;Room of Remembrance and Hall of Reflection&lt;/STRONG&gt; &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The Room of Remembrance pays special homage to the 6 million Jews murdered during the Holocaust.   Representative names of victims line the walls in a moving tribute to those who were lost.  The inspirational Pritzker Hall of Reflection provides a forum for peaceful discussion and contemplation for groups and individuals.&lt;br /&gt;
